We don't want you to join our Shul,
we want you to join our Family!
Dear Member and Friend,
We pray that Hashem bestows upon you every form of happy and healthy blessing in the coming year.
Congregation Dovid ben Nuchim/Aish Kodesh is a warm and welcoming family Shul. Our Mispallelim care for each other and have
become a close-knit “Family”. We would like to welcome you to join our family. In addition to offering daily Minyonim,
we offer a variety of learning programs. The Rav oversees many Tzedaka projects that are vital to those in need within our community.
As we approach the new year, it is time to renew our annual membership. As you are aware, the expenses of running a Shul are very
high and we are trying to charge the minimal amount in order for the Shul to function properly. Annual family membership is $360, which includes a seat in the Shul, as well as other benefits, ie: reduced Kiddush sponsorship rates, Shabbos babysitting room privileges etc. This year we’ve added a Guardian membership rate of $500, which includes complementary seats for your immediate family on
the Yomim Noraim. Furthermore, we are asking members of the community who utilize our Shul for any weekday Tefila, or just on Shabbos, to become associate members at $180/family if not becoming full members. We greatly appreciate your participation in our
Shul and your financial commitment will allow us to continue to make the Shul the warm and convenient beacon of Torah it has become.
This year we will be updating our seating arrangements for the Yomim Noraim (High Holidays). Those who have renewed their membership will receive 2 seats and will be able to purchase additional seats for a reduced price of $25 a seat. Non-members may purchase seats for $75 each. Seats will be assigned with an official seating plan for those who have paid. For any specific requests, please let us know.
You may divide the payment into installments for your convenience with head checks or pay online at our website, www.dbndetroit.org, monthly installments are accepted online as well.
We look forward to greeting you personally and davening with you in our Shul. We are confident that together, with you and
your family, our Shul will blossom and continue to be a vital institution in our community. Thank you for your generous support.
